'Qarib Qarib Singlle' Box Office Collection: Earnings take 75 per cent jump on Day 2

Mumbai : Starting with earning just above Rs 1 crore on Day 1 of the release, Irrfan Khan's 'Qarib Qarib Singlle' registered a growth of over 75 per cent on Day 2. The film managed to earn Rs. 3.05 crore on second day.

With a steap jump the total earning of the movie has reached to Rs. 4.80 crore. The growth is a result of strong word of mouth publicity.

News Agency ANI quoted Sujay Kutty, Zee Studios Business Head, "Qarib Qarib Singlle proves yet again that content is the ultimate king! We are all overwhelmed with the kind of response and the spectacular word of mouth the film has generated within audiences and critics. We thank our exhibitors for giving us the confidence and push to make this such a special movie going experience."

'Qarib Qarib Singlle' managed to fetch positive response from both the audiences and critics for its quirky comedy and unique storyline.

The film also marks debut of actress Parvathy in Bollywood.
