Raj Kundra Case: Five point guide to know the matter

Mumbai : Actor Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman Raj Kundra has been sent to police custody for questioning in his alleged involvement in an adult movie production house case.

Here is a five-point guide to let you understand the matter in detail:

1: Raj Kundra was arrested on Monday night after his former assistant Umesh Kamat allegedly named him in an adult movie creation business. Kamat tagged him as a "key conspirator" and incriminating evidence including porn clips and emails were found in his office.

2: The women were used to be paid Rs 10,000 for the clips. Some of the women were allegedly offered roles in web series and then forced to shoot adult movies. Most of the clips have been shot in hotels in Mumbai and houses rented for this purpose only.

3: "Content creation and operations" were done from Raj Kundra's Mumbai office. Raj Kundra is alleged of producing these movies and even broadcasting them live over hotspots. He has claimed that he had sold the app to another accused, Pradip Bakshi.

4: According to the police investigation, Raj Kundra was constantly updated about the finances attached to the application.

5: The Mumbai Police say around ₹ 7.5 crores have been seized so far and Mr. Kundra may have set up a company in the UK to avoid tough anti-pornography laws in India.
