Rajinikanth receives minor bruises during shooting of 'Man vs Wild'

Mysore : South superstar Rajinikanth received minor scratches during the shooting of adventurer Bear Grylls's survival show 'Man vs Wild'. Interestingly, he is the second Indian who will be featured on the show after PM Narendra Modi appeared on it last year in August.
Thalaivaa, Rajinikanth's name in south India, started shooting for the show on Thursday in forests around Karnataka's Mysore.
"I have finished shooting for the 'Man vs Wild' episode. I have not received any wounds but some scratches due to little thorns. I am alright," he told reporters at Chennai airport after the shoot, news agency ANI reported.
In a clip shared by news agency ANI, he was seen in a blue jacket and grey track pants, carrying a cross-body bag.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's episode of Man vs Wild had made record impressions, with the highest-ever reach for the infotainment genre with 6.1 million tune-ins.
"It was a huge privilege to take Prime Minister Modi on a journey. I'm a huge fan of the wilderness and the beauty of India, not just the terrain, but also the people. We're coming back to India to do more this year," Bear Grylls told IANS.
