Mumbai : Actor Ranveer Singh has recently faced a lot of flak and cases over his nude photoshoot for a magazine; he has now recorded his statement with Mumbai Police over an FIR in the case, which was filed at the Chembur Police Station on July 26.

On Monday, Ranveer Singh recorded his statement at the police station. He came a day early, the police had called him for the same on August 30, 2022.

The Mumbai Police filed the FIR under various Sections of the Indian Penal Code like 292 (sale of obscene books, etc), 293 (sale of obscene objects to young people), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and provisions of the Information Technology Act.

The pictures from the photoshoot were shared online on July 21. In the pictures, Ranveer Singh was seen with no cloths.

On the work front, he was recently seen in Netflix's 'Ranveer vs Wild with Bear Grylls'. He will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s next directorial film ‘Cirkus’ with Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. The film is slated to release on the occasion of Christmas 2022.
