Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan crosses 200 cr in China -A big success

New Delhi : Super Hit Film Bajrangi Bhaijaan bangs the China Box Office with Rs 18 crore since its release. B-town Dabangg Salman Khan has set a benchmark with his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Sources confirmed that film has collected more than Rs 200 crore in China since its release on March 2, 2018.

Besides, other Bollywood entertainers its Salman's first ever popular movie to release in the China market. Mesmerized by the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China, Amita Naidu-VP-PR Eros International, said- "The audience in China are enjoying the story and the direction and they found it very touching. They have loved Salman and found the little girl very cute. 

Ms. Amita Naidu who is the current Vice President-Public Relations at Eros International Media Ltd further added that they make plans to survey the China market further so as to release upcoming movies. She said Recognizing the significant market opportunity in China, Eros is once again coming together with Kabir Khan for a travel drama, 'The Zookeeper' (working title) and are confident this would be the first of the many films releasing from our catalogue,"

Before the release of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Aamir Khan's Dangal and "Secret Superstar" has also won the hearts of people in China. It is likely that film industry in India has great scope to run their movies in neighbouring countries.

After taking a look at the Bollywood film success in China, Amita said "China has the world's largest cinema screen count with over 41,000 screens and with the recent successes of Indian film releases in China, we see tremendous box office potential in one of the most promising international markets for Indian films".

Sources from the country also confirmed that Bajrangi Bhaijaan hammered the first day collections of Aamir's Dangal in China. However, Secret Superstar, was fortunate enough to bag Rs 40 crore on its opening day in the country.
