Mumbai : Bollywood actor Salman Khan has claimed innocence in 1998 blackbuck poaching case in which he is accused of with 'Hum Saath Saath Hai' co-stars Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre.

He was supposed to appear before the court on January 25, but his counsel pleaded the court to exempt them from appearing citing law and order situation.

The counsel allowed them to appear on January 27.

"The court has scheduled the hearing in the case for 27th. All six accused, including Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali Bendre will have to appear before the Court on that date," Salman's lawyer Hastimal Saraswat told India Today.

Salman Khan and his co-star actors are accused of killing two blackbucks in Rajasthan while shooting for their movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hai'.
