New Delhi : Salman Khan's production venture 'Loveratri' is in news for somedays. The superstar is launching his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma in Bollywood and is super-excited about the film. But, something has made Salman to change the title of his new film from Loveratri to Loveyatri. He made an announcement last evening on social media with a new poster and title. However, he didn't specify any reason behind changing the title.

"This is not a spelling mistake... Loveyatri," the 52-year-old actor captioned his post in Instagram. The upcoming film is featuring Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain and is set against the backdrop of Navratri. Few months ago, the title of the film turned controversial as Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) protested against the film's title and alleged that it 'distorts the meaning of the Hindu festival.' Later, a petition was filed against the film. News agency PTI last week reported that a court in Bihar asked the police to lodge an FIR against Salman Khan and the cast of Loveyatrion the basis of a complaint that the title and contents of the movie had hurt the Hindu sentiments.

Salman Khan then told PTI, "Some people, I don't know who they are, have some problem with title of the film. It is a beautiful title. There is nothing more beautiful than love, so it is called Loveratri. It is not demeaning any culture."

"We are making the film with Navaratri in the backdrop. We have made this beautiful film celebrating the music, colour, love and the fun of festive season. We don't need any publicity like that. Once the film is released those people will know there is nothing," Salman added.

Loveyatri will introduce Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain in the Bollywood world. The story revolves around the love story shot in shot in Gujarat and London. Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy also play pivotal roles in Loveyatri. It is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Salman's mother Salma Khan. The film is scheduled to release on October 5.
