New Delhi : Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar have been one of the preferred choices for different brands for their promotional stints. But, an ad of a tobacco company has landed them in legal trouble.

A legal notice has been served by Allahabad Court to the actors for directly associated promoting tobacco, which is considered illegal in the Indian market. To overcome the obstacle multiple brands use surrogate advertisement to promote their products.

This is not the first time when a superstar has been served the legal notice for promoting tobacco. Earlier Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was served a legal notice, after which he had withdrew from the promotion of the brand.

An official statement or reaction is still awaited by the trio in this matter.
