Shah Rukh Khan to play lead role in Dhoom 4? Check details

New Delhi : Dhoom series had been growing with every new version. Starting from John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and then Aamir Khan, everytime the makers had something new and fresh to offer.

Amid a lot of speculations over who will play the lead charecter in the fourth segment of the movie; a media report suggests that it will be Shah Rukh Khan and not Salman Khan whose name was in headlines couple of days back.

According to a report by The Times Of India, Shah Rukh Khan will come onboard to play the villain in the fourth instalment of the franchise. The report also suggested that Abhishek Bachchan will be replaced by Ranveer Singh as Jai Dixit.

Shah Rukh Khan is believed to start shooting for the film after he wraps 'Zero'.

Earlier reports had claimed that Salman Khan has been roped in to play the lead role. But it looks like the actor declined the role as he does not want to play the part of a villain. The casting for the character of Ali which was initially played by the actor Uday Chopra is still going on. 

Shah Rukh will also be seen in the movie Zero Opposite Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film will be hitting the screens on December 21.
