Sridevi, 54, passes away after suffering cardiac arrest in Dubai
New Delhi : In a major shock for Bollywood, actress Sridevi passed away on Sunday following a cardiac arrest in Dubai, UAE.
She was in Dubai to attend a family wedding with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi.

Born as Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan, Sridevi had worked in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films before debuting in Hindi films. She had started her career as a child artiste, and grew up to be one of the biggest female stars India ever had. The government of India awarded her Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honour, in 2013.
Her daughter Janhvi is set to make her Bollywood debut this year with Karan Johar’s directorial Dhadak.
