Sridevi's death a planned murder by Dawood, says ex ACP

New Delhi : A retired ACP of Delhi Police has raised a new angle in the death of Bollywood actress Sridevi by claiming that it looks like a planned murder with likely chances of Dawood Ibrahim's involvement.

Ved Bhushan paid a visit to Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai to probe the incident. According to him, Dawood shares a good relationship with the prince of Dubai and also have a strong hold in the area. This could have stopped Dubai Police from doing fair investigation.

Ex-ACP runs a private investigation agency and visited the place of incident with his team. He claimed that even the hotel staff was not very cooperative in the investigation. Mr. Bhushan is apparantly planning to file a plea in Supreme Court for re-investigation in the death of actress Sridevi.

According to the retired cop, when he and his investigating team members requested the Dubai Police to handover Sridevi's blood samples, information about how much amount of water was found in her lungs and other information associated with the incident, they denied them access. He said, in the name of documents, they just gave him a copy of Sridevi's post-mortem report.

He also raised suspicion over Sridevi's Rs 240 crore insurance policy in Oman which could have been encashed only if the actress died in Dubai.
