SSR Case: NCB detains Samuel Miranda, raids Rhea's Mumbai residence

New Delhi : The Narcotics Control Bureau on Friday morning raided actress Rhea Chakraborty's residence and detained Samuel Miranda, Sushant Singh Rajput's former business partner. No one has been detained from Rhea Chakraborty's family.

The NCB is probing the drug connection attached to Rhea Chakraborty in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. After the FIR that was registered on August 25, NCB arrested two suspected drug peddlers identified as Abdel Basit Parihar, and Zaid Vilatra.

Earlier, Enforcement Directorate, who are investigating the money laundering case filed against Rhea Chakraborty, retrieved the old deleted Whatsapp chats between Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput.

From the retrieved conversations from March 2017, it was established that drugs were being supplied to Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput. While the actor has denied all the allegations, the NCB has made a few prominent developments already.

Sushant Singh Rajput has alleged Rhea Chakraborty of putting him on heavy medication without their approval. She and her entire family are accused of abetting SSR’s alleged suicide.

Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai residence on June 14.
