'Stree' Box Office: Rajkummar-Shraddha's movie earns good

New Delhi : Rajkummar Rao and Sharddha Kapoor's latest release 'Stree', which is a horror comedy movie, has started off with a good start on Box Office collections. The film has earned around 6.82 crores on its opening day, much higher than Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se that released on the same day (August 31).

Interestingly, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 comes with a stronger actor line up of Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, with special appearances by Salman Khan, Rekha and Sonakshi Sinha.

Stree on the other hand have young talents like Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and Aparshakti Khurrana in the lead roles. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film is a horror-comedy inspired by the legend of Nale Ba.

Amid positive reviews from the critics and good mouth of word publicity, it is expected that the film will pick up the pace in coming days.
