Tamilrockers: Student of the Year 2 leaked in HD within hours of its release
Mumbai : Tiger Shroff, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria's 'Student of the Year 2' released in theatres this Friday, but it ended up being the victim of piracy as the movie was leaked on digital platforms in HD prints within hours of its release. The college rom-com was leaked on TamilRockers a day after its big release.
Student of the Year 2 had been buzzing from past couple of months because it is a sequel of the famous franchise by Karan Johar. Also, the film was marking the debut of Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria in the industry. Thirdly, Tiger Shroff is breaking away from his action-hero image with the film.
Despite the buzz, the film failed to make an impact on the audiences and the critics. With a slow run on Box Office, the film has managed to cross the Rs 20-crore mark so far.
SOTY 2 isn't the only film to be leaked online by TamilRockers. Recently, Avengers Endgame, Luka Chuppi, Gully Boy were also leaked on the website.
