New Delhi : During the questioning by Enforcement Directorate, Sushant Singh Rajput's business partner Varun Mathur revealed that the late actor wanted to make a biopic on former cricketer Sourav Ganguly and wanted to work in more virtual-reality based projects.

According to a news report by India Today, Varun and Sushant had opened a company named Innsaei Venture Pvt Ltd., however, they shut the company down in the year 2019, just a year after its launch.

The report mentioned that Sushant wanted to do many virtual-reality based projects under this company. His most ambitious project included portrayal of several prominent figures from the Indian history like Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, and Mother Teresa, among others. The Sourav Ganguly biopic also seemed feasible while planning but once things come into perspective, SSR dropped the idea of making it.

According to the report, the total expenditure of the firm was around Rs 8 lakhs while Sushant's contribution in that was just Rs 50,000.

The ED is currently investigating the money laundering case after SSR’s father lodged an FIR in Bihar accusing the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of siphoning off Rs 15 crore from his bank account.
