'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' Day 5 Box Office Collection takes it closer to Rs 100-crore mark

Mumbai : Defying the restrictions of being a weekday, Ajay Devgn's 100th movie 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior' is doing wonders on the Box Office. The film is all set to enter the elite Rs 100-crore-club. The total Box Office collection of the movie stands at Rs 90.96 crore by the fifth day of its release.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the official figures of earnings by the movie on Box Office. "#Tanhaji is unshakable… Solid trending on weekdays… Day 5 is higher than Day 1 and 4… Eclipses biz of *all* #Hindi films… Will cross ₹ 💯 cr today [Wed; 15 Jan]… Fri 15.10 cr, Sat 20.57 cr, Sun 26.26 cr, Mon 13.75 cr, Tue 15.28 cr. Total: ₹ 90.96 cr. #India biz. (sic)."



The movie started its run on the Box Office with a good Rs 15.10 crore figure, on the second day the earnings rose to Rs 20.57 crore. On Sunday, the films earnings went even more ahead with a collection of Rs 26.08 crores, taking its total weekend collection to Rs 61.75 crores.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior revolves around the life of Tanaji Malusare, who was the Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's military leader. It recounts how Tanaji fought Udaybhan Singh Rathore, Mughal emperor Aurangzeb's soldier from capturing their fortress.
