'Thappad' shows good growth on Box Office collections

New Delhi : After getting a slow start on an opening day, Taapsee Pannu's 'Thappad' showed significant growth on the second day of the Box Office.
According to a report by Box Office India, the film has managed to collect around Rs 5 crores with occupancy of around 70% in the theatres.
The two-day collection of the movie has become Rs 7.50 to 7.75 crores in two days.
The boxofficeindia.com report also suggested that the growth is good but it's hard to tell what Saturday growth means today for films at these levels.
The two-day collections of the film till date are as follows.
Friday - 2,85,00,000 approx
Saturday - 4,75,00,000 approx
TOTAL - 7,60,00,000 approx
Starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead character, the film revolves around domestic violence and how even 'one slap' should not be endured.
