This is why Ranbir Kapoor gave Taimur's birthday party a miss

Mumbai : Actor Ranbir Kapoor failed to attend Taimur Ali Khan's first birthday party hosted by Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan at their ancestral home in Pataudi. An online portal found out that it was his work commitments which did not allow him to churn out time for the party.

"Ranbir is very fond of Taimur and that is also one of the reasons he was invited for Taimur's celebration. Ranbir was keen to go, but a few important work-related things came up and he could not make it," Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.

Among the prime guests at Taimur's birthday party were his grandparents Babita and Randhir Kapoor, aunt Karisma Kapoor, grand uncle Karan Kapoor, cousins Samiera and Kiaan. Kareena also invited her bestie Amrita Arora.

Now, the Kapoor family is back in Mumbai and gearing up for the Christmas brunch. 

Randhir Kapoor told mid-day: "Like every year, we are expecting the entire family to be there. As usual, there will be lots of food, and this time around, it will be special as we will remember Shashiji and share our fond memories of him."
