'Thugs of Hindostan' depresses sharply on Day 2 Box Office collections

New Delhi : Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan's latest release 'Thugs Of Hindostan' showed a significant dip on Day 2 of Box Office earnings. Negative reviews from both the critics and viewers, showed their effect as the film's earning depressed by over 45 per cent.

On its opening day, the film had made a record opening by collecting over Rs 50 crores on the Box Office; on its second day the film managed to earn Rs 28 crores.

According to a report in Boxoffice India, the two-day collection of the 'Thugs Of Hindostan' stands at an approximate Rs 78 crore (nett).

Despite huge dip, the makers are happy as they claim that the movie has already shattered nothing less than seven Box Office records.

According to Yash Raj Films, the film has shattered seven box office records: 1. The highest all-time opening, 2. The first film to cross Rs 50 crore, 3. The biggest single-day collection ever, 4. The biggest Diwali opener of all time, 5. Biggest opening day for Aamir and Amitabh, 6. The biggest ever opening for a non sequel and 7. YRF’s highest ever opening.
