Varun Dhawan clarifies trolls over lifting and kissing Gigi Hadid

Mumbai : Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has shared his clarification over the Twitter trolls which he has been receiving since a video went viral of him lifting and kissing Gigi Hadid during the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre event.

On Day 2 of the launch, Varun Dhawan performed on stage alongside Shahrukh Khan, Ranveer Singh and other stars. During his performance, he was seen lifting supermodel Gigi Hadid and also kissing her without consent.

The netizens started trolling him for his act and called it embarrassing on their tweets. Check out the video below:

now the actor has shared his clarification over the video and called it a 'planned incident'. "I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather then going out and doing something about things . Good morning," he wrote.

Meanwhile, the event was a star-studded affair with many famous Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities attending the event. From actor Tom Holland to Priyanka Chopra, many celebrities graced the occasion.
