New Delhi : The much-awaited trailer for the upcoming movie Kalank has been released by the makers. The film features Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.
Set in 1945, in Pre-Independence India, the trailer starts with Alia’s confession of ruining everyone’s lives by taking one decision in a fit of anger. What follows is a tangled story of love, hatred, heartbreaks, violence and energy of energetic dances.
What catches attention is a very colourful picturisation, normally found in Sanjay Leela Bhansali movies; 'Mind it' this is not a Sanjay Leela Bhansali product.

A couple of days back, the makers had released the title track of the movie – Kalank Nahi Ishq Hai. The intense soulful song has been composed by Pritam and crooned by Arijit Singh.
Kalank has been scheduled to release on April 17 this year. Directed by Abhishek Varman, the movie is produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta and co-produced by Fox star studios.
