Avengers Endgame to break screening rules in India, run 24x7

New Delhi : With a million tickets sold already, cinema hall owners are leaving no stone unturned to maximise their profits with the release of Avengers: Endgame. A report in Bollywood Hungama says that the upcoming Marvel mammoth will be screened 24x7 in India.

According to a news report, a multiplex chain has got permission to screen the movie post midnight throughout India. As per Indian laws, a movie screening cannot start after midnight; but it looks like Avengers is going to bend the rule.

A source from a multiplex chain told Bollywood Hungama, “The permission came through today and we were informed of the same verbally. The permission however is given only for Avengers: Endgame. We are now sitting down to chalk the programming for these post-midnight shows. However, as of now we are planning to have these shows only in A-tier cities and especially in IMAX and 4DX versions.”
