'Avengers: Infinity War' stuns China Box office with Rs 1300 crore debut, crosses $1.6 billion worldwide

New Delhi : Avengers: Infinity War continues to dominate the world Box Office as it stuns China with a Rs 1300 crore debut.

The Marvel's superhero movie has had a cumulative take over three weeks of $547.8 million, according to box office tracker Exhibitor Relations.

The film features a string of superheroes attempting to save the universe from powerful purple alien Thanos (Josh Brolin).

According to Box Office Mojo, the film made a splash in its China debut, raking in an estimated $200 million in its opening weekend, enough to make it the second highest debut of all time in the Middle Kingdom following the Fate of the Furious.

The film’s global total is now over $1.6 billion, which makes it the biggest superhero movie of all time.
