'Glee' actress Naya Rivera missing after 4-year-old son found alone in a boat
California : The ‘Glee’ star Naya Rivera is missing after she went for a trip to a California lake, according to the Fillmore Police Department.
On Wednesday, the 33-year-old, was reported missing after a trip to Lake Piru in Ventura County, California. The actress and her 4-year-old son, Josey Dorsey, rented a boat and went swimming in the water.
As the boat was overdue for return after three-hour rental, staff at the lake found the boat with her sleeping son, but not Rivera.
Immediately a search-and-rescue operation was undertaken at the lake, but Naya was not found.
The Ventura County Sheriff's Department took to Twitter and tweeted "The missing person at Lake Puru has been identified as Naya Rivera of Los Angeles." "SAR operation will continue at first light."
Naya’s son Josey was wearing his lifejacket when he was found asleep on the boat. An adult lifejacket was still on the boat.
The day before she went missing, the actress shared a photo of herself and her son on Instagram captioning it "just the two of us."
