Golden Globe Awards 2019: All you need to know

New Delhi : The time returns when Hollywood stars will sport tuxes and gowns to set the red carpet on fire. The Golden Globe Awards will be kick starting the award season in 2019.

A three-hour Golden Globe Award show may start in coming time but the fashion parade has started on the social media pages of the event.

Last three editions of the show were hosted by Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler. But this time it will be hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh. The duo had left us all ROFL when they hosted September's Emmy Awards.

The award presenting this year is a fleeting gig, but it's a big draw for viewers looking to see their favourite celebrities, from 93-year-old Van Dyke, to 'Black Panther' stars Boseman, Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong'o. Other presenters include Halle Berry, Sterling K. Brown, Jessica Chastain, Kaley Cuoco, Jamie Lee Curtis, Idris Elba, Harrison Ford, Johnny Galecki, Justin Hartley, Taraji P. Henson, Felicity Huffman, Allison Janney, William H. Macy, Chrissy Metz, Mike Myers, Gary Oldman, Jim Parsons, Sam Rockwell, Saoirse Ronan, Octavia Spencer, Ben Stiller, Lena Waithe and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The winners in 25 categories - 14 in film and 11 in television - are voted on by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) for the award ceremony.

The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on January 6, 2019 (local time).
