Jimmy Kimmel talks about his Oscar night fees

New Delhi : Jimmy Kimmel, who has been recently selected to host prestigious Academy Awards, talked about money he will be getting for the night.

The 49-year-old actor claimed that he will be getting 15000 dollars to host the event. He also shared a reason why this money is more than enough for the show, saying, "You know why? I think it’s illegal to pay nothing."

Kimmel has hosted an Oscars aftershow on ABC, and earlier this year performed MC duties at the Emmys.

Chris Rock returned to the job earlier this year, having first hosted in 2005. In 2015, Neil Patrick Harris hosted while for the previous year the task fell to Ellen DeGeneres.
