New York : The 62nd edition of Grammy Awards started on a sad note as the Academy paid an emotional tribute to late basketball player Kobe Bryant by keeping a 2 minute silence.

Lizzo grabbed the maximum number of nominations this year at the Grammys, dedicated the night to Kobe and broke into tears while performing on her song - Cuz I Love You and Truth Hurts.
