Mumbai's elite come together to choose 'Queen Of Mashups - 2017'

Mumbai : First-ever female DJ championship, 'Queen Of Mashups - 2017', brought together the best of corporate page 3 and elite guests under the roof of Hotel Taj Lands End, Bandra (West), Mumbai recently.

DJs from across the country enthralled the audiences with their compositions while competing for an exclusive contract of Rs 1 crore and a chance to participate in Global 'Queen of Mashups' Championship to be held in Mumbai on 30th June 2018.

Chief guest at the event, Mrs Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr Devendra Fadnavis, hailed the female talent, "It is great to see that female musical talent is breaking new glass ceilings in India. I am confident that Indian female DJs will soon rule the world stage." Mrs Fadnavis, who is herself a trained classical singer, also congratulated the organisers Ms Lina Ingle and Mr Chand Seth, founders of 'SOS Nitelife', for providing an unprecedented musical platform for the female musicians.

The 'Queen Of Mashups - 2017' was judged by best of the best industry has, including DJ Akash Rohira from Kolkata, DJ Suliaman from Goa, DJ Jazzy Joe from New Delhi, DJ Vkey from Mumbai and Gioconda Vessichelli from Italy.

The winners were DJ Lopa Nova from Kolkatta, followed very closely by DJ Aashikaa Mirza from Mumbai and DJ Neit Kaur from New Delhi.
