16-year-old TikTok star Siya Kakkar commits suicide: Police investigates the cause
New Delhi : Just a few days after the abrupt death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, someone else has made headlines after committing suicide. While the entire country is busy boycotting Chinese products and apps, the popular TikTok star Siya Kakkar seems to have taken a drastic step. Siya was a 16-year-old TikTok star and was very popular in the community. She had a large fan following on TikTok as well as numerous other social media platforms. She had 1 million-plus follower on TikTok and was adored by her fans for the amazing dancing skills.
On June 25 at 9 PM, this 16-year-old was found dead in her home in Preet Vihar, Delhi. Siya Kakkar committed suicide by hanging. While many people believe that it could have a Sushant Singh Rajput angle but the police have found no such evidence. Siya seems to have committed suicide and her manager was the first one to confirm this news. Her sudden death has left her family, friends and fans in a state of shock. While the world is still reeling with the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, another young, budding artist is lost in this chaos.
Even during this tough time, she managed to create videos at home and posted them on her TikTok account. In fact, she even posted a video just hours before her death and her manager Arjun Sarin from Fame Experts claims that he spoke to her about a new upcoming project the night before and she sounded just fine. He has no clue about what went wrong and believes that it is probably something to do with her personal life as her professional life was going very well.
The police have not found any suicide note and believe that she was battling depression since the last few days. They are investigating her suicide and have seized her phone. They also asked her family to help them unlock her phone so that they can investigate further. The police are also going to question her family, friends as well as the school authorities while probing the reason behind this drastic step.
