Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta engagement party: SRK, Aishwarya, Katrina and many stars congratulate the couple
New Delhi : Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani threw a star-studded party for their son Akash Ambani and his fiancee Shloka Mehta. The guest record included Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with daughter Aaradhya, Rajkumar Hirani, Kiran Rao and Katrina Kaif among many others.
The grand Ambanis party was organized on Monday evening and Bollywood biggies were arrived at the Ambani house to wish happy life ahead the newly engaged couple. Akash Ambani is the elder son of Mukesh Ambani, the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited and Nita Ambani, founder of Reliance Foundation. He is also the chief of strategy of Jio, a 4G service provider.
And, Shloka Mehta is the daughter of a diamond billionaire, Russel Mehta and Mona Mehta, the owners of Rosy Blue Diamonds. The couple became the talk of the town after they exchanged rings with each other at a private event at a luxury resort in Goa on Saturday. Sources confirmed that Shloka Mehta is his former schoolmate. The love birds are alumni of the famed Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS), in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.
Besides, Shloka has known the Ambanis since she her childhood. Currently, she is the director of Rosy Blue Foundation and co-founder of ConnectFor. She also helps NGOs with volunteers.
Coming back to the party, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan were spotted in the bash. Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar posed with were seen posing with the new couple. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with daughter Aaradhya was posing for enthusiastic photographers. Both mother-daughter were looking gorgeous, as always. Katrina Kaif arrived in style and was clicked as she arrived. Rajkumar Hirani, Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge, Kiran Rao celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani were also seen in the luxurious engagement party.
Sources believe that Akash and Shloka may tie wedding knot later this year. The marriage celebration may continue for 4-5 days and possible dates may be December 8-12 at the Oberoi, Mumbai . However, official statement from the families is yet to be declared.
