Aravinda Sametha rules box office, becomes sixth all-time highest grossing Telugu film

New Delhi : Aravinda Sametha continues its success journey even on the 18th day of its release. The total Box Office collection of the movie has reached Rs 164 crores, beating the record of Khaidi No 150 to become fifth all-time highest grossing Telugu movie.

Jr NTR’s movie had shattered the lifetime earnings record of Ram Charan's Magadheera (Rs 150 crore) in just 15 days.

Though the film is doing good business, some small screen theatres have replaced the movie with the new releases. Its occupancy in some theatres was much bigger than the new films across the Telugu states.

The Jr NTR and Pooja Hegde starrer has dropped considerably and might rake in another Rs 10 to 15 crore gross in the coming days. As per its current pace of collection, Aravinda Sametha will not be able to go to next place as it will not be able to beat Rangasthalam, which collected Rs 216 crore gross at the worldwide box office in its lifetime.
