New Delhi : To mark the occasion of Teacher’s Day, bollywood celebrities took to social media to pay their gratitude towards their teachers. The actors shared pictures and thanked their teachers for teaching them life lessons.

Ajay Devgn shared a photo of himself with a film camera and wrote, "On Teachers Day, I salute the Camera. I’ve realised that every time I’m behind it, I’ve learnt something new. It’s an ongoing process #HappyTeachersDay2020 (sic)."

Bipasha Basu shared a quote that reads, "Happy Teachers' Day. If there were no teachers, all other professions would not exist."

Shilpa Shetty shared a photo of her favourite Physics teacher and wrote a long note. She wrote, "How does one thank a person who has helped shape their life? Words truly can never do justice to express gratitude for the role teachers play in our lives. But, I will still want to take this opportunity and thank all my gurus, luckily have a photo with her when I visited my school recently, and she was still there. My favourite Physics teacher (didn’t like the subject so much) Radha Miss, always had this joie de vivre, positive energy and a huge smile when she entered the class... Nothing has changed. Maybe, I learnt to smile like that from her. She never held back her happiness (sic)."

Manoj Bajpayee wrote, "I bow down in front of all my teachers who taught me not only the words numbers and books but also gave a wisdom to love each and every human and the Mother Earth!! Pranam aap sabko!! Naman!! happy teachers day!!! (sic)."

Nimrat Kaur saluted all the teachers in her life. She wrote, "All that I am is the collective lessons I’ve learnt from all the teachers who continue to appear in my life, knowingly or unknowingly. I salute all such souls who’ve led their lives by example and strive to make the world outside and within us, a better place. #HappyTeachersDay (sic)."

R Madhavan wrote that he is grateful for the presence of teachers in his life. He added, "Wish you all a very HAPPY TEACHERS DAY. I am what I am today, only because of the extraordinary and selfless teachers I’ve had the privilege of being blessed with. I am ever grateful for their presence in my life. (sic)."
