Irrfan Pathan's Cobra teaser released

Mumbai : Former Indian cricketer Irrfan Pathan is making his silver-screen debut with an upcoming movie Cobra, teaser for which has been released today.

The Tamil film stars Chiyaan Vikram and directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. In the movie, Irrfan plays the character of French Interpol officer Aslan Yilmaz in the film.

According to buzz, Vikram will be donning 20 looks in the movie; Irrfan Pathan will be after him in the movie.

The makers had plans to release the movie in summers but due to coronavirus lockdown the plans got delayed. The film’s cast and crew were shooting in Russia in March. But, due to the COVID outbreak, they were forced to stop the shoot and fly back home.

Besides Vikram and Irfan, the film also stars KS Ravikumar, Srinidhi Shetty, Mrinalini, Kanika, Padmapriya and Babu Antony. Srinidhi Shetty is the female lead.
