Radhika Apte speaks in support of Anurag Kashyap: I always felt secure in your presence

Mumbai : The #MeToo allegations is making its way back to the industry and new allegation has surfaced against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. 

However actress Radhika Apte shared a heartfelt post for the director. Calling him, one of her closes friends, Radhika stated that she feels secure in his presence. Taking to her Instagram handle, Radhika shared a picture of herself with Kashyap along with a post.

She wrote, “@anuragkashyap10 you have been one of my closest friends, you have inspired me and always supported me. You have always treated me as an equal and I cherish the mutual love and respect we have for each other. I have always felt immensely secure in your presence since the day I’ve known you. You have been and always will be my trusted friend. Love ya💙’

Apart from his Bollywood friends and counterparts, his first wife Aarti Bajaj also took to her Instagram handle to show her solidarity towards her ex-husband. Calling Anurag rockstar, she slammed the accusation as cheapest stunt.

Recently, Payal Ghosh had opened up about the incident that she says happened in 2014. According to her, she was molested by Anurag Kashyap. She added that she tried to open up about it several times, but her family and close friends asked her to be silent to avoid any problem in the future.

Actor Kangana Ranaut supported actor Payal Ghosh, Ranaut tweeted, "Anurag self admittedly has never been monogamous even when he was married to various people, what Anurag did to Payal is a common practice in Bullywood, treating struggling outsider girls like sex workers comes naturally to them."
