Shilpa Shinde joins Congress, wants Rahul Gandhi as future PM of India
Mumbai : Bigg Boss winner Shilpa Shinde started her political innings on Tuesday as she formally joined Congress in the presence of Sanjay Nirupam, President of Mumbai Congress Committee and party leader Charan Singh Sapra.
Shilpa Shinde believes that Congress is a party that can bring a change in Indian politics; she also expressed his wish to see the party president Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister of India.
If reports are to be believed then Shilpa Shinde might contest upcoming Lok Sabha Elections from North Mumbai. However, no confirmation to the reports has come till now.

Shilpa Shinde had gained fame from the famous TV Show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Pe Hai. Then she moved on to win reality TV show Bigg Boss.
Another Bigg Boss contestant Sreesanth had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2016.
