Showik Chakraborty's chat with peddler proves drug angle

New Delhi : With each passing day, Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is getting murkier and new pieces of evidence are surfacing. The CBI is currently investigating the case and has been interrogating Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, father Indrajit, former manager Shruti Modi, flatmate Siddharth Pithani and others.

However, after the drug angle was uncovered, the Narcotics Control Bureau came to join the investigation and is currently looking into the drug angle in the case. 

According to a Times Now report, the WhatsApp chats between Showik Chakraborty and a drug supplier where the former asked for some boom for his father. Reportedly, the chats revealed that father Indrajit was aware of his kids' habits.

Meanwhile, the CBI team has summoned Rhea Chakraborty's father Indrajit Chakraborty for the second round of questioning on Wednesday in connection with Sushant’s case.

Along with the CBI and NCB, the Enforcement Directorate is probing the money laundering charges against the actress.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his residence on June 14.
