Siddharth Koli has tips for people hoping to make it big, says life is not a bed of roses and hardwork is the only Godfather
New Delhi : People, connections, Bollywood industry, network, PR, etc – these things go hand-in-hand as the world says but not always. Music sensation Siddharth Koli recently had a talk with us and had some tips to offer to music enthusiasts who want to follow it professionally. He said that it is very important to believe in yourself and stay unaffected by the negativity that others send your way. He reminisced and said that while his family was always supportive of his career choice, there was a lot of external noise that made him doubt his decision. Despite coming from a family of politicians and police officials, Siddharth wanted to follow music as a profession. His passion and persistence helped him convert his dream to reality and he suggests others stay persistent as well.
We asked him about his feelings and he said that he is grateful to God and his family for trusting him and helping him come so far. He is also thankful for the constant inspiration from his uncle, Govinda. Siddharth admits that every time his uncle gave a commendable performance, he got inspired to work harder and perform better. Siddharth says that his uncle was a dose of creative inspiration amidst his family that inspired him to work hard. He advises music enthusiasts to look for inspiration everywhere. “Inspiration may not always come from family, but you will find it if you seek it”, says Siddharth.
Siddharth’s endeavor to make a mark in the world of music started when he was 9 years old and continues to date. He says that with passing years, his passion for music also increased and so did the blessings that helped him to succeed. His teachers and family always appreciated him and soon he started getting paid contracts. “My journey has taught me that consistency is the key. Life is not always a bed of roses and Hardwork is the only Godfather.”, said the talented artist while sharing his secret to success.
Siddharth suggests finding teachers who believe in your talent and hone it selflessly. He also feels lucky to have learned singing under the able guidance of legendary singers Shri Suresh Wadkar, Ms.Padma Wadkar, and Sharmishta Chatterjee. He says that this guidance has been instrumental in his success story. He is thankful to his teachers and hopes that everyone gets such support.
Siddharth’s school and college achievements are proof of his motivation which has been consistent all these years. He has been learning at every opportunity and that has made him perfect at his craft. He advises young music enthusiasts to stay motivated despite the challenges that life poses and continue learning.
He is working on multiple projects and hopes to get more popular in the coming years. In the past, Siddharth has shared the stage with popular singing talents like Stebin Ben, Rahul Vaidya, and Maninder Buttar. He has mesmerized the audience at over 1000 live shows.
Siddharth’s performances at corporate events, weddings, cocktail parties, and other private events have made him the singer of choice for many music enthusiasts. Rahul recently performed at the Mumbai wedding of Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar and the guests couldn’t contain their excitement.
