Mumbai : BJP Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy has alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy was deliberately delayed to make sure the poisons in his system would dissolve beyond recognition.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Swamy alleged, “Now the diabolical mentality of the killers and their reach is being slowly revealed: autopsy was deliberately forcibly delayed so that the poisons in SSR’s stomach dissolves beyond recognition by the digestive fluids in the stomach. Time to nail those who are responsible.”

This allegation comes in after the politician alleged that the late Bollywood actor had met with a Dubai compliant drug dealer on the day of his demise on June 14. He asked in a tweet, "In Sushant case a Dubai compliant drug dealer Ayash Khan had met Sushant on the day of Sushant's murder. Why?"

In a report on Times Now, a forensic officer claimed that traces of the chemicals in a body last for about six hours and that Sushant's autopsy was done approximately 10 hours after his body was recovered.

The forensic department of the All India Institute for Medical Sciences (AIIMS), has joined the CBI on this investigation to study the post-mortem report of the late actor.

Talking to IANS, Sudhir Gupta, head of the AIIMS forensic department, said, "I have constituted a medical board on the request of the CBI. The five-member AIIMS medical board will examine the autopsy report of Sushant and look into the possibility of a murder."

He said, "AIIMS team has just received documents and videos from the CBI and we are studying it. And after looking into the documents and videos of the autopsy, we will write the perusal."

The CBI team was spotted visiting Cooper Hospital to allegedly interrogate the team of doctors who conducted the autopsy.
