Watch: Ali Zafar breaks down post sexual harassment allegations, says family suffered

Islamabad : Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar broke down into tears after he spoke to Geo News over sexual harassment allegations made by his fellow singer Meesha Shafi. In a video going viral on the internet, he can be seen explaining how much his family had to suffer due to allegations.

Ali is seen revealing in the video that he was silent on the accusations because he wanted the court to perform its due process in the matter.

A Pakistani court dismissed sexual harassment case against the actor and now a defamation case that he has filed against Meesha is underway. In his statement recently, the Dear Zindagi actor informed that the court found nothing in the allegations made against him and therefore, the case got dismissed. He also mentioned in the statement that Meesha tried to sabotage his career by asking people to not hire him or feel ashamed of being associated with him professionally.

He also shared another video from the day of incident where Meesha claims that Ali harassed her. He captioned the video, “This is a clip of the ‘jam’ where Meesha claims she was harassed. It is understood that she can’t be expected to carry a go pro to prove there had been any such thing, but luckily, WE had a camera and 11 witnesses, two of them women, to prove that she made this entire thing up.
