33 years of Ramayan: Star cast visits The Kapil Sharma Show set

Mumbai : Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia and Sunil Lahri were the stars of the iconic mythological show – Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. The three actors visited The Kapil Sharma Show to celebrate the 33 years of the show. During the interview, they shared their experiences while shooting for it.

The actors shot their episode on February 26, the same day Archana Puran Singh had gone live on the official Facebook page of Sony TV with the star cast from the set of the show.

In a promo shared by the channel on social media, Kapil Sharma can be seen asking a question if they felt itchy while wearing those heavy costumes, crowns and carrying bow and arrow.

Arun Govil, who played the role of Lord Ram in the show, says that there was a time when they felt itchy by just seeing the costumes.

Deepika, who played the role of Sita, said people never greeted her with a 'hi' or a 'hello' but bowed down before her with folded hands. Sunil, who played the role of Laxman, jokes about the time when people learnt that their Hanuman (played by Dara Singh) is a Punjabi.
