New Delhi : With the nation coming to a standstill amid 21-day lockdown to combat Covid-19 virus, netizens raised demands of re-streaming the mythological epic dramas - Ramayana and Mahabharat on TV. Catering to it Information and Broadcast Minister Prakash Javadekar announced the return of Ramayana on DD National.

"Happy to announce that on public demand, we are starting to retelecast of 'Ramayana' from tomorrow," Prakash Javadekar announced in his tweet.

Ramayana Telecast Date:

As mentioned by the Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, the show will be telecasted on March 28 (Saturday).

Ramayana Telecast Timings:

The show will be telecasted in two episodes of one hour each. One episode will be streamed in morning 9 am to 10 am, another in the evening 9 pm to 10 pm.
