Disha Vakani aka Dayaben to return on Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

New Delhi : Famous TV show Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is set to welcome Dayaben back on the show. Will it be Disha Vakani or a new face? It is still a mystery, but the promo suggests return of the female lead on the show.

Dayaben has been missing from the show for around five years and with the new promo released, it looks like the wait is set to get over.

The makers have released the promo of the show in which Jethalal is seen having a phone conversation with his brother in law Sundar, who confirms that he will be bringing Dayaben back on the show. Jethalal can be seen reconfirming with Sundar if he is trying to bluff, but the latter confirms that it is happening for sure.

What's happening on TMKOC?

Jethalal is set to reopen his shop after a long renovation work; he wants his wife Dayaben to join the opening ceremony. For this he makes a call to Daya, which is picked up by Sundar. Jethalal explains him the situation and askes him to send Daya back, to this Sundar confirms that his behna will come to Gokuldham for sure.

Dayaben missing since 2017

Disha Vakani had become mother in 2017 and with that she had taken a leave from the show to focus on her baby girl. Since then, she has not returned on the show. Producer Asit Modi has several times said that he is waiting for his Dayaben to rejoin the cast.
