Mumbai : The 18th Indian Television Academy Awards took place on Tuesday in Mumbai. Surbhi Chandna, Harshad Chopda and Divyanka Tripathi among others are big winners this year. The Glitzy gala was hosted by famous Maniesh Paul, who also hosts Indian Idol season 10. Leading television stars like Divyanka Tripathi, Harshad Chopda, Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri, Ashi Singh, Randeep Rai, Helly Shah, Surbhi Chandna, Zain Imam walked the red carpet. Talking about the big winners, Harshad Chopda (Bepannaah) and Surbhi Chandna (Ishqbaaaz) walked away with the Best Actor Male and Female awards respectively. Surbhi, who has bid adieu to Ishqbaaaz, looked gorgeous in a backless gown.
Divyanka Tripathi, popularly known as Ishima from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, bagged the Best Actress Jury award. Colors TV’s supernatural saga Naagin 3 received the award for the highest rated show. Popular sitcom ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai’ won the Best Comedy Show award while Mohit Malik’s ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ bagged the Best Serial Jury award in the Drama category.

Besides the winning team, Rakhi Sawant with husband-to-be has stolen many eye balls. Rakhi's bizarre dress full of fruits might be the controversial queen's trick to become talk of the party. Rakhi wore a black sequins jacket and a pair of trouser with grapes held at the plunging neckline of her glittery black top. She even wore a basket full of fruits on her hat and much as we’d like not to mention, she completely looked like a fruit shop, must say.
