Kapil Sharma's 23-year-old post 'Azaadi' picture without beard

Mumbai : Comedian Kapil Sharma became a household name after his stand-up comedy show – Comedy Nights with Kapil, post which there was no looking back as he enjoyed money and fame. On May 12, he shared a throwback picture of his old days when he took part in a play, titles as Azaadi.

He shared a picture in which he can be seen posing with two colleagues; he looks totally unrecognizable in the picture. In the caption, he reveals that the picture was clicked 23-years back when pockets used to be empty but smile was always there.

"Just found this 23 years old pic, it was just after finishing the performance of our play #Azaadi” in the youth festival of shri “guru Nanak dev university”. I removed my beard n clicked a photo with my colleagues, clicking a photo was such a luxury in those days that I didn’t even realize gum is still there on my face missing those days , pockets were always empty but smile was always there, jus thought to share with u guys. Hope u all r well n safe," he captioned the image.

As India is experiencing the second wave of coronavirus, the actor has gone on a break to enjoy some family time with wife Ginni Chatrath and his newly born. The couple already has a daughter named Anayra who was born in December 2019, one year after their wedding in Jalandhar.
