'MS Dhoni - The untold story' strikes hard on television too

New Delhi : Neeraj Pandey's 'MS Dhoni - The Untold story' movie emerged out as a clear cut winner on the television too. The film's repeat-run garnered more rating than its world television premier. 

In the week (March 18 – March 24), Sushant Singh Rajput's 'MS Dhoni' managed to fetch highest TV viewership, followed by Ramesh Sippy's 'Sholay'.

The overall ratings of the top five movies in the week stood as follows:

1: MS Dhoni The Untold Story (Star Gold): 80,94,000

2: Sholay (Star Utsav) – 74,91,000

3: Businessman (Zee Cinema) – 39,43,000

4: Krrish 3 (Sony Wah) – 34,43,000

5: Kanchana 2 (Sony Max) – 33,80,000

'MS Dhoni - The untold story' is a biopic made on the life of Team India's former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. 

The film was released last year in the theatres and had received rave reviews from both the film critics and the audiences.
