'Sajan Re Phir Jhooth Mat Bolo' to end on August 20

Mumbai : SAB TV’s popular sitcom 'Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo' is all set to go off-air from August 20. The news comes as a shocker as the show was doing really well and was ranked second on Sab TV after 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma'.

The show's slot will be replaced by upcoming new fiction drama Aladdin, the will start rolling from August 21 (Tuesday). The channel has stopped showing promos for Sajan Re and has added the launch date in new promos of Aladdin.

'Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo', sequel to 'Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo' presented Hussain Kuwajerwala and Parvati Vaze in the lead roles.

A report claims that the reason behind shutting down 'Sajan Re Phir Jhooth Mat Bolo' is Optimystix's upcoming show Comedy Circus returns. The production house was finding it difficult to manage so many shows at a time and later decided that will stop production for 'Sajan Re Phir Jhooth Mat Bolo'.

Aladdin will cast Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur in lead, along with Smita Bansal.
