Sunil Grover show may replace The Kapil Sharma show: Reports
New Delhi : One mid-air fight changed everything for comedian Kapil Sharma, from sailing in success to fighting for it many things have taken him with a blow. The latest to make him feel guiltier is that Sony Channel is planning to scrap his comedy show and replace it with a brand new Sunil Grover show.
While, the channel tried its best to bring Sunil Grover back on the Kapil Sharma Show, including offer that both the stars will not share the same frame, the former remained firm on not working with the latter and told them that he can be utilised on other shows; the reason how he landed on Indian Idol 9 Finale as Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Devi.
However, an official confirmation for the Sunil Grover Show is yet to come.
Why Sony TV is so keen on retaining Sunil Grover?
Like Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover also has a different contract with the TV Channel. He has made it clear that he will not work with Kapil Sharma, but channel can utilise him on the other shows.
The channel is more keen on not signing Kapil Sharma again is drastic drop in the TRPs. There are reports that the current show may find a replacement with a new one where Sunil Grover is the leader.
