When Salman Khan saved Dr Hathi's life eight years ago

Mumbai : Eight years ago, Bollywood actor Salman Khan had saved the life of Kavi Kumar Azad aka Dr Hathi who died a couple of days back due to sudden heart attack.

Back then also he had collapsed on the set of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma and if a report is to be believed then all his medical expenses were beard by Salman Khan. Post that he had reduced around 140 kgs due to health scare.

According to the Spotboye report, Salman paid for the actor’s hospital room and the operation theatre. He also paid for Azad’s medicines. Salman, according to the report, works closely with the doctor who attended to Azaad, and often pays the medical bills of those in need. Azad’s doctor also waived off his fees. 

Salman keeps making headlines for his humanitarian works. He also runs an organisation with the name Being Human.
