Even on Indra's throne on offer Shiv Sena will not side BJP: Sanjay Raut
Mumbai : Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Friday said that the party will not side with Bharatiya Janata Party even if Indra's throne is offered to them.
Speaking with the reporters, Sanjay Raut reaffirmed that Shiv Sena will take hold of the CM post after NCP- Congress alliance takes place in Maharashtra.
"The time for offer has ended," Raut said when asked about if BJP has agreed to their demand of 50:50 power sharing.
He also mentioned that people of Maharashtra want to see Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
The reporters also asked him if there are any plans of the three parties to meet the governor in alliance. He replied, why meet governor when the President's rule is imposed in the state.
