Rajasthan fake doctor use acid on baby to cure pneumonia, police arrested the accused

Rajasthan : A women, who claimed herself as doctor had allegedly used acid on the infant suffering from pneumonia. The act has left burn marks on chest and feet of the one-month-old baby.

One-month-old Priyanshu was suffering from pneumonia and was taken by his relatives to Vinoba Basti in Sawai Madhopur , Rajasthan on March 26 for treatment. The ignorant family hardly knew that a duplicate doctor was there to cure their baby. The fake lady doctor had used chemical as part of traditional pneumonia treatment. 

After returning from Vinoba Basti, the child's health began deteriorating, after which he was taken to a hospital in the area for medical examination. Doctors who examined the child then spotted burn marks caused due to the chemical. The hospital, then, registered a case at the Kotwali police station against the unidentified lady. They also got the infant admitted for proper treatment.

The police on Friday registered a case against an unidentified woman who claimed herself as doctor to the victim’s family. She was accused of allegedly using acid on a one-month-old baby in Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur.

District Collector KC Verma, who visited the hospital in which the child is undergoing treatment, promised that strict action would be taken against the accused. He also requested individuals to avoid getting trapped in blind faith, mainly in case of medical conditions.

Meanwhile, the police have identified the accused and are interrogating to get information from her.
